Alejandro Cardona is the Principal Investigator of the Energy Geoscience and Engineering Lab and Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the New Mexico State University (NMSU). Prior to NMSU, Dr. Cardona was a Research Scientist at The University of Texas at Austin, Institute for Geophysics. He obtained his PhD in Energy Resources and Petroleum Engineering from KAUST, and B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from U. Nacional de Colombia.
